“Ordered the gym on-line in the afternoon of Thurday 1st of April, was with me Saturday 3rd at 07:50 in the morning. The instructions were easy enough to understand, and every single part was there. The gym was built and ready to use by 11:10am the same day, and I am very, very happy with it. I've just finished my first workout on it and I can't fault it at all. It feels like the machines you find in a proper gym, very sturdy and capable of heavy use. The weight stack is heavy enough at the moment, I used to attend a local gym regularly and I'm not as fit as I used to be, but a couple of months down the line I would possibly like a bit more weight in the stack. I wonder if you can buy additional weights? Anyway, this gym is worth every penny, and will get you in good shape within a couple of months if you stick at it, the hot weather is just around the corner (I hope). “My Fuel F63 was delivered last thusday via the 2 man delivery service (very friendly and helpful). The treadmill is FABULOUS. Needs 2 people to get it out of the box! Once out of the box it is quick and easy to build together (the upright arms and console need fitted to the base). It is a massive machine which rewards you with an excellant powerwalking/running space that makes you feel safe and secure.
It is very confusing buying a treadmill cos there are so many on the market with all different kinds of "shock absorbers" - The F63 is excellant. I have used the treadmill everyday and I have never had any aches or discomfort. Kevin was very helpfull and very patient with all the questions we asked and gave us different options. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend so much money on a treadmill, but now, I am so glad I did because it is so solid, stable and easy to use plus it has an excellant warranty so cos per use will be negligable over it's lifetime. It's a fantastic feeling to get up early and go on the treadmill for 30mins and watch GMTV (Treadmill is quiet and you can hear the TV and music easily without it being loud and waking up the whole house) before the kids get up. I wish I had bought one sooner. I would definately recommend it.”

My delivery arrived on the Saturday, the guys rang ahead to let me know they were on their way and they were quick and efficient, delivering the treadmill to where I wanted it.
Onto the treadmill itself... Wow. It certainly exceeded my expectations, especially as I had originally committed to a commercial product. It's straight-forward to put together (though make sure you can persuade a friend to help out), a joy to use and looks very smart. You can't say that about too many treadmills!

“I was very pleased with my reebok i-run and impressed with the punctual delivery. The machine was easy to assemble and was literally up and running in about 10mins! However, as the machine was in an upstairs room it was considerably noisier than anticipated. I was all set to return it and emailed Connection Fitness with my concerns. I was impressed when i was advised to try a few alternatives to help combat my problem. It was suggested i use the treadmill on the incline and put the machine on the rubber mats (that i could purchase from Connection fitness) to help reduce the noise level. I am pleased to say it certainly helped and the noise is much reduced. So thanks Connection Fitness and hello a fitter trimmer me!"

“I bought the Pro-Form 780 treadmill in January and only got round to setting it up last week. This model is easily as good if not better than the ones you find in the gym. It has a range of programs and the motorised incline is great for making sure you get a thorough workout. Lots of info such as time, distance, calories burned etc is shown on the display and the built in speakers are a great addition because at home you have the luxury of not having to use headphones! I thought about buying a treadmill from Argos but heard the motors aren't as reliable as the ones on the semi-pro models. Also, the belt width of many treadmills in Argos etc are only 40cm and this one is 51cm (11cm makes all the difference when your running at 14kmh!). While there is no downside, it did take me two hours to put it all together but this proves you are getting a high quality solid product compared to the Argos ones that only take 20 minutes to assemble (the 780 takes people upto 130kg which is 20 stone!). With the 780 you get a lot of equipment for your money. Someone from Connection Fitness rang to discuss delivery which I cant believe was only £20 as this item weighs a tonne (it took 2 men to deliver it). The service I received was nothing short of fantastic, as is this treadmill."

“Received phone call within minutes of making order to agree on a delivery time. Definitely a two person job setting it up since it is fairly heavy. The tread surface wasn't central and the tread needed tightening because it was causing 'slipping', where you are suddenly propelled forward with a slight judder. Made an enquiry about this and they gave me some great advice through the online chat service. Got an engineer to ring me the following morning but by this time I figured out that the tread just needed to be fairly tight to stop the 'slipping' effect you get on some treadmill surfaces. The engineer assured me it will take a while to wear it in and gave me some information on what to do if it happens again, which wasn't already in the treadmill manual. I would definitely purchase from Connection Fitness in the future because of their brilliant service."

“Assembly was straight forward, took me approx 1 and a half hours with 90% done on my own. The instructions were easy to follow and very clear.
Once up, I got running, a clear easy to use display, the motor was quiet enough to watch tv, the in built speakers for the iPod clear, good volume and easy to use.
Adjustment of the speed and incline easy to do whilst running, the adjustable cushioned track straight forward to do and makes a difference on a long run.
The in built 'running mates' add a little fun to training and the iFit card system is a clever idea. The heart rate monitor is comfortable and accurate with a clear easy to read display (even when short of breath), an added bonus is the fan built into the console, very refreshing on a long run.
Overall I'm impressed by this machine, I've been running for 25+ years and this is a great supplement to my road running, handy for a quick warm up/cool down session or a long run.
Only down side was slight damage to the bottle holder but after an email to Connection-Fitness a replacement had arrived within 24 hours, can't fault their after sales service!
If you want a reliable, easy to use, sturdy treadmill for general fitness or serious running then this is a very good choice from a company with a very good after sales service"

“Firstly may I recommend Connection Fitness to anyone thinking of buying anything from them. There is always a slight risk when internet shopping but they were helpful and friendly on the telephone and delivered next working day.
Now the item we purchased was the Pro-Form 4.0 treadmill. I spent hours looking at all the available options and I can honestly say, within this type of budget range, I do not think there would be a better buy. It is realitively easy to put together (does need 2 people) and is great to use. It has a good power motor that is not noisy and easily copes with a good pace. The belt is one of the largest within this price bracket and the cushioning is very good. Automated incline and a fan under the display are added bonuses.
Although smaller it doesn't feel that far off from the vastly more expensive commercial gym machines!

“I've had my Horizon T931 for almost a week now and it's had good use every day.
I ordered online and was able to choose the date and time of delivery - a Saturday morning. A few days later I needed to change it to before 10.30am - I called Connection Fitness and it was all arranged over the phone without any fuss.
True to word, the treadmill was delivered on Saturday morning by TNT, arrived at 10.15am. Perfect.
Took me (on my own) about an hour an a half to put together and set up. Not sure why it took even that long, think I was doing it at a leisurely pace. Probably could have done it in 30 mins if someone else had been around.
The treadmill itself is great. Feels solid and doesn't move or make any strange noises, even at my top running pace.
It has a couple of places on the console to put your drink and an iPod. Has 4 basic programmes, all based on a 20 minute workout. Free choice (with a 20 min count down), Interval, Hills and Fat burn / weight loss.
To be honest, I haven't really used the programmes, prefer to adjust the speed and incline myself (all easy, as done at touch of a button). I've downloaded some (free) treadmill training podcasts off iTunes, which I've been using - breaks any monotony and I'm sure better than any treadmill programme.
The folding mechanism is lightweight - easy to lift up and it drops down on it's own using a hydraulic system.?
Only down side is that the heart rate monitor doesn't really seem to be accurate. Might just be a fault of my machine, but I'm not fussed as I use a separate heart monitor anyway.
All in all, I'm really pleased with the treadmill - it looks great (everyone who's seen it thinks it cost a whole lot more than it did), it's great value.

“Assembly of the 5.7e was very straightforward; it is a very sturdy machine. So far (in 24 hours), the cross trainer has been used by 5 adults for a tatal of about 7 hours, 2.5 of which were mine! It's fun to use and gives a great workout.
In use, the machine in very stable and smooth. It is also very quiet. The computer control of resistance in programs, manual control and custom settings means that there is absolutely no monotony during exercises, something I consider to be extremely important in maintaining motivation for use of the 5.7e in a long-term fitnes plan. The computer's programs and complete control of my own fitness regime and the variation available through the resistance controls in the handles work really well. I anticipate a big improvement in the fitness of all family users!
The pulse meter in the handles seems to be a little eratic; sometimes they're spot on and somtimes they seem to show about half what I feel is happening. I suspect that it's about quality of my palm-to-sensor contact, as stated in the user guide. I think that this will improve with bedding-in and and my increasing experience with the cross trainer. I might move to a polar watch (when I'm fit enough to make that worthwhile!) as the 5.7e is also capable of pulse monitoring from watch and chest straps. Really, the 5.7e covers all the bases and I am absolutely delighted with it.
I must restate my original message; the price, the quality of the product and the service are a joy and do you credit. For any other fitness equipment, you are assured of my custom.

“First the service. Ordered on Thursday for a Saturday morning delivery - it had to be before noon and they said that would be no problem; it wasn't. You can't have two-man delivery on Saturday but that wasn't a problem either; the chap from TNT helped me up two flights of stairs with the box even though all he was obliged to do was drop it outside the front gate.
Then a disappointment - when I opened the box up on Sunday morning I found that the Parts Pack (nuts and bolts etc) was missing. I sent an email on Sunday night asking for a set - at 8am on Monday morning I got an apology and a promise that they would be in the post that day; they were and arrived on Tuesday morning.
So service was brilliant.
Now the treadmill. Pretty easy to set up, although you do need two people really. It works like a dream and is quite quiet really. The machine has a number of workouts but the I-Fit cards (two free) are slightly better. The Ipod speakers are plenty loud enough, the fan has a number of settings to get it just right and the whole thing is sturdy and well put together.
So I recommend the treadmill and Connection Fitness without any reservation."

Following a very useful chat with your sales team, I ordered a NordicTrack C2000 yesterday afternoon and received delivery this morning - 2.5 hrs later I am running on it (well walking actually ;-). The machine came with some excellent instructions (very unusual) and putting it together was simple. Also, thank you for the floor mat at a bargain price and throwing in the extra iFit card. All-in-all and very pleasant experience, I wish all online retailers provided this level of service to their customers. “I don't need to add much more about the features of this treadmill, just that it's a great bit of kit with solid build quality. I wanted to say well done to connection-fitness, who I chose over 4 other major sites due to the low price, speed & price of delivery + free ifit cards. The overall experience was great; I ordered late on Thursday night, choosing Saturday delivery for only £3.95 on a 98kg package (wow). Courtesy call on Friday morning and delivery was made by TNT early on Saturday morning. BUY IN CONFIDENCE.
One thing I will say is that if you are in any doubt about whether you can shift this (extremely heavy) bit of kit around the house, then choose the 2-man delivery to a room of your choice. I managed to get it upstairs with the help of another person, after unpacking all of the loose pieces and taking one slow step at a time!"
