R301 Diamond Rowing Machine

The R301 Rowing Machine operates on a combination of air resistance and magnetic resistance creating an ultra smooth dynamic rowing action. This combination of resistance allows you to fine tune the machine so you can get the maximum benefit from your training.

One of the most defining features of this rowing machine is the console which holds 8 built-in workout programs to keep your sessions varied and motivating. The console on the R301 features a large LCD display screen which relays performance feedback on Time, Speed, Distance, Intensity, Number of Strokes, Stroke rate per minute & Indicative Calories.

The height of the footrests is fully adjustable as are the straps which secure your feet to the plates. The R301 Features a comfortable moulded seat and smooth roller bearing action. It also comes with a built in wireless heart rate receiver to track your pulse as you train.

The R301 Rower has a clever space saving folding frame which means it can be folded up when not in use to reduce the floor space it takes up. As well as this it has built in transport wheels for transport around the home. I specifiacally wanted folding machine but was nervous of spending as much online without trying the machine, and unsure of magnetic vs. air. Read reviews etc.. but you never know everyone is different. Anyway took the plunge (really cos of 30 day returns policy) and must say am very pleased. Connections fitenss were cheapest site I found for it and were very helpful and was delivered really quick (within couple of days). I don't condifer myself an unfit-chick (play tennis, raquetball, squash etc.) and feel this machine will challenge me for some time to come. Partially choose this one as the seemed to have more programmes than most. Very good call on my behlaf as realise these will be much more motivational than just usual - time distance strokes etc. Easy to put together, nice and quite, smooth, and air give a nice little cooliong breeze. Not really anything to say against it. Really pleased with it and so is other half :-)

This rowing machine arrived in less than 24 hours from ordering online. Very easy to follow the York instructions and to assemble. Great quality- just like the ones I have used at my local gym. Shame the display isn't backlit though but maybe that would drain the batteries to quick. Simple to use. Great, hard workout for men or women and a nice breeze on the face from the rower. Thrilled with purchase.9.5/10
