The Cadence C8 from Weslo is a reliable but compact running machine perfect for home usage. The 2HP motor of the C8 allows the user to experience speeds of up to 16 km/h and an incline of between 1.5 and 10%. Weslo have also fitted the C8 with its trademarked Soft Cell technology, running belt technology that helps reduce the stress and pressure exerted on the user’s joints and muscles.

The running machine is also equipped with Space Saver technology, allowing maximum compaction of the treadmill when not in use. The console of the C8 offers 4 preset speed programs and access to digital speed and incline buttons, for easier change of the speed and incline levels. The LCD display of the Weslo C8 is green tinted for ease of eye, and shows speed, incline, distance, time, pulse and calories – enough functions to satisfy the user with information about their performance.

After searching the internet and reading lots of reviews of different types of treadmills I decided to go for the Weslo Cadence C8 Treadmill and found it at an excellent price from Connection Fitness with free Next Day delivery an added bonus. After calling Customer Service to confirm my order (which was also excellent) I eagerly awaited my order. My order arrived next day as promised.

Review of product:-

Assembling the treadmill was very straight forward with good clear instructions. The console is very informative, has pre-program workouts and manual programming. The C8 has an excellent safety feature that switches off the treadmill instantly. Compared with other treadmills with the same specifications this makes the C8 excellent value for money!

After being offered this treadmill at a decent price, I went ahead and ordered it. Came next day via TNT as promised.

Assembly took around an hour. The instruction are confusing at some points, about 3/4 items are named "Upright" something, which really is a pain in the ass. But after some fiddling around and re-reading the instructions at some points a few times you can quiet easily put it together.

One thing I must highlight is the magnetic key required to run the treadmill is in the same bag as the treadmill its self. Make sure you locate it as you unbag everything. I thought it would be more approprietly placed in maybe the accessories box, but it was in the giant bag, which is really rather stupid.

As for the treadmill, its is amazing for this price! Has an extremely strong feel to the metal parts. The display is also very clear and easy to use. The treadmill is rapid at full speed, 16km/h, may not look like much on paper, but once you try running at that speed and hear the noise you probably wont do it again.

All in all, a good value for money treadmill, instructions could definetly be improved and the magnetic key placed more approprietly. I would definetly recommend this treadmill to anyone else looking to buy something in this price range.

connection fitness have the best customer service I have ever experienced, they really made this an easy and fuss free transaction, I ordered on the Thursday and my treadmill was there 8:20 am the Friday that's impressive, the treadmill was easy to put up and was done in 30 mins. I have brought twice from connection fitness and have to say that I would recommend them to any one as I know they go that extra mile,

I must say firstly that the service from Connection Fitness was excellent and their staff made the whole purchasing process a smooth uncomplicated event. In a time when customer service is second place they made me feel like there is hope, well done.

The treadmill arrived as stated, assembled in under an hour. A good size solid treadmill, soft running surface, the mp3 dock is a treat, the digital incline and speed adjustments were easy to use no fumbling around to see which button did what, large clear display. A great treadmill for a reasonable price, especially considering some competitors wanted £595!
