I found Connection Fitness via a search engine, and I’m jolly glad I did. My first contact was via the phone and after a conversation with a knowable representative, Joy, I bought a Reebok T5.1 treadmill. I received a conformation e-mail as promised with a delivery date within minutes of putting the phone down. A good sign of service I thought.
The treadmill arrived on the promised date. I opted for the “one man delivery” but on reflection I should have gone for the “two man” option as the T5.1 is extremely heavy. Although it had labels on the box from TNT stating it should only be delivered with a tail lift lorry and pallet truck neither of these turned up. We had to get the neighbours round just to unload it off the lorry! Trust me, go for the “two man” option!!
I unpacked the T5.1 and after just a few bolts the unit was up and running. All the tools I needed were supplied. Once it is assembled it is a real doddle to move it around the room if required thanks to the built in wheels. It is of a quality I would expect from Reebok, really good. There doesn’t seem to be any maintenance instructions with it although there is a helpline phone number and e-mail address.
Using the treadmill is also plain sailing, the instruction are clear but frankly you don’t really need them as the display and controls are almost self explanatory.
All in all I received a great product from a great company. I would not hesitate to use Connections Fitness again, but remember, go for the 2 man delivery unless you have some strong friends on hand.

Starting with delivery it was very quick, selected next day around 2pm and it arrived at 10am in the morning, so less than 24 hours I guess! The box was a lot bigger than expected, but when the Treadmill dimensions are 2m I should have realised it wouldn't be small!
Very, very easy to set up, infact it is pretty much assembled in teh box. We just had to put a few bolts in and some plastic parts and it was ready to go. We were able to build in the box and then cut down the sides and wheel it out into position in the garage, so not much lifting involved.
In terms of design and quality of the machine it is very good and really looks the part. We are now thinking of getting the C5.1 Cross Trainer to match!
I've used quite a few commercial Treadmills in Gyms that are obviously a lot more money than this, but I don't think they give you anything extra. This Reebok is very smooth, has good cushioning but is still solid.
Like I said it is a very big machine but this isn't a bad thing when your running it feels very comfortable and the console is easy to use.
After looking round for several weeks i'm definitely pleased with the decision and could certainly recommend this product and the fast service from Connections Fitness.

I love my new treadmill because it has enabled me to train for my marathon at anytime. I get a really good workout and the motion control just makes my run smoother and more comfortable. I have even achieved new PBs on my treadmill. The treadmill has improved my running , as well as encouraged my husband and son to keep fit!
