Bought in May of last year (2009). Took me quite a bit of time to set up as i was doing it on my own, eventually got there and working fine. I used it 2 - 3 times a week for the first month and a half, and then used it once a week as i had a change of job and a newborn son (not enough time in the day). It stated that the usage was +2-3 hrs a week so obviously i was nowhere near that timescale. I always used it on the 2 deg incline to try to simulate running on the road. In December of last year (2009) the motor burnt out, not from over usage obviously. Part has been on order for 2 - 3 weeks and still no sign of it. (this is through ICON health and fitness, who are the Service Department for Proform, not connection fitness who were very professional in everything they did). Obviously a dodgy motor (hope so), hope the new one lasts a bit longer.

Reliable delivery. The instructions and nuts n bolts pack were missing however, Connections couriered them to me within 2 working days. The machine is sturdy & quiet and I love using it. We have taken the added precaution of having rubber mats placed underneath as it is very heavy piece of kit and we have it in our spare bedroom upstairs which is not carpeted. If you live alone or do not have a strong person around you will need 2 man delivery and assistance with lifting/moving it. Takes two people about 2 hours or so to put together. The worst bit was getting the console wiring connected and trying to avoid putting a screw through the wire. It was a tad fiddly to say the least. Not sure how accurate the heart moitor feature is but everything else is seemingly working well so far. A great piece of kit if you have the room with a good variety of programmes but you can use manual easily if required. Seems very good value for money overall and great if you do not want to commit to a long term gym membership or use cannot find the time to get to the gym or simply if you prefer to exercise in the privacy of you own home.

I was impressed overall with the service from Connection Fitness. I rang for some advice before placing the order online in early October 2008 and the sales person was very knowledgeable. Online ordering couldn't have been more simple. The treadmill itself is brilliant. I've mostly used the weight loss programmes up to now and there are plenty to go at so should keep me interested. It is quiet and although it takes up a bit of room it can easily be folded up if it needs to be moved. The only complaint I have was regarding the delivery itself. Whilst next day delivery was offered it would have been better to have waited for the 2-man delivery option as this thing is heavy and difficult to handle when in its box!
