The new SM4000 Deluxe Smith Bench from Marcy is an extremely burly and tough machine for the serious home gym user. The bench has been ergonomically designed to harmonize the body's natural movements. The Smith machine features a pec dec, foot brace for seated row, 6 olympic storage pegs, lat bar, tricep rope, shiver bar, ankle strap, single handle and chromed v-bar.
The bench is especially sturdy through its large heavy duty tubular steel frame, which comes in an attractive yet durable charcoal powder finish, and the frame itself features and ‘Off The Floor’ design to increase the stability of the bench. Extra features that offer further safety to the user are the 10cm Nylon Pulleys with sealed ball bearings, and the 900kg tensile strength aircraft cable used for exercise on the Smith machine.
Marcy have also fitted a commercial grade pop pin adjustment system with a tightening feature and a seven degree slant of the frame to accommodate for the natural movements of the upper and lower body. The adjustable bar also has catches and safety stoppers, to ensure a safe but testing workout. There are also cage uprights, chromed diamond striker plates and commercial grade bar and safety catches.
The diamond plated non-slip foot brace is included for the seated row exercise, and the Smith 4000 also comes with Lat Bar, Tricep Rope, Shiver Bar, Ankle Strap, Single Handle And Chromed V Bar. The multi-function bench also comes with a preacher pad and Olympic sleeve on the leg developer, allowing for good muscle building sessions.
