I thought long and hard about whether to purchase a Reebok or Rettler crosstrainer but after speaking to Reebok direct and also somebody from Connection Fitness I decided that the Kettler was the better machine & also the fact that it came with a 3yr parts & labour guarantee. The only negative for me was the price as it is a lot of money to pay for something that you have not actually seen or tried out before purchasing. I was excited when it arrived and asked my hubby to put together for me but it took him over 3hrs to put together and was shall we say not very happy! However, it is slightly larger than I expected it to be but is lovely & smooth to use and I have used it every day since so I am hoping with time I shall start to see good results in body tone. The person I spoke to at connection fitness was very knowledgable and gave me lots of advice on what to look for & not when choosing a crosstrainer. I would definately recommend this crosstrainer but would say just to make sure that you have enough room for it.

After a long time searching i went with this crosstrainer. It was between York, infiniti (not stocked here) and this. It was very easy to put together, very quiet and the programs are great. The restance levels are really good and will allow great progression over time. Great service to.

I ordered my Cross Trainer yesterday afternoon and by paying a few pounds extra and it arrived this morning much earlier than the 10.30am guaranteed delivery time.
The reason I ordered the Kettler 309 was having used one for a full week (twice a day) in the gym at the hotel we stayed at whilst on holiday.
The one I used on holiday was getting used almost continuously all day, and it certainly got some abuse, but in all fairness it was stable, fully functional and demonstrated that it could take some abuse.
I built the machine in just under an hour, and as others noted, all the tools are supplied. The most difficult part of the assembly is fitting the plastic cover trims which are located over the joints and knuckles between the respective parts and they are a bit fiddly.
Lastly, the reason I ordered from "Connection Fitness" was due to the reviews I read regarding their customer service. I also took time to read reviews on the websites of their competitors / other suppliers and found that they were much less favourable. I think the fact that you can actually speak to someone makes all the difference (it does to me!)
I ordered my cross trainer by phone, and the young lady I spoke to was courteous, polite and took the trouble to double check everything about my order. I received a confirmation email within the hour and as I noted earlier delivery the following morning.
I have just enjoyed my first hour on my new cross trainer.
Tired, sweating and delighted!
